Calling His Name

Yesteday was one of those days... I wasnt able to concentrate because too many things were going through my head. Mostly the question WHY?

Why are there so many people living in pain - physically, mentally, and spiritually?

Why do we sometimes feel like things will never get better?

Why do we hide from the truth?

Why do we feel like we are alone?

Why are we always wanting more?

Why?

There is a song by Third Day that speaks to these questions - Call My Name. I haven't been able to stop listening to it... Music is where I find my peace...make sense of things...meditate on questions and talk with my savior.

What a wonderful savior we serve... His love for us is so alive...all we have to do is call his name.

He never said we wouldnt be tempted

He never said we wouldnt be tried

He never said we wouldnt be afflicted

He never said we wouldnt feel pain

But what he did say is that with him as our savior we would never be overcome.

All we have to do is call his name, take up our cross and live to glorify him.

Even through the trials, the pain, the temptations and the rock bottom points in our life Jesus is right there walking by our side.


The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. - Psalms 145:18
