Finally Home

I was listening to the Christian radio station on my way home today... it was one of those days that called for Christian music to calm me down. I am always encouraged when I listen to this station and today I heard a beautiful song that I had to share.

The song is called "Finally Home" by Mercy Me and it really made an impression on me as I made my way back to the place that I call my [earthly] home.

We have all lost someone that we love... someone that although we know they are in a better place we still find our self wishing they were within arms reach for a hug. This song is a beautiful reminder of the hope we have that one day we too will be "home" listening to the angles sweet voices with all of our loved ones. And on days like today this song reminded me that my hope is in things that are not of this world and that I don't need to be worried, or anxious or afraid because the Lord is walking right by my side leading me on my journey to my heavenly home.
