Weekend with the Rents!!!

I got to spend the weekend with my parents and JC and had so much fun! JC and I always have fun when we are with family! We had a very fun-filled weekend... went to the movies, hung some decorations, went to Joe T's, had to get a car out of the pound... ya know, the typical weekend activities!!


We went to see the movie Julie and Julia on Saturday afternoon - It was FANTASTIC!!! So funny and so good!! Its a must see!! We laughed so hard!!



After the movie we did some decorating around the house... some things I have been meaning to do for awhile now. We hung some cute lanterns that Mom and Dad got me for my birthday.





Then we hung some curtains in the second bedroom/JC's office... this is something I have wanted to do for a LONG time!!! Curtains are SO expensive and I wasnt finding anything that I loved that didnt cost an arm and a leg! So... we ended up buying two twin flat sheets and hung them up!! No sewing necessary... and only $30!!





Then we went to Joe T's for dinner Saturday night!!!! Mom and Dad LOVED it!! :)

Two pitchers of margaritas and great conversation later...




Then... we woke up Sunday morning trying to remember where we parked the car... cause it wasnt where we thought it should be!!! Turns out... it got towed! I drove home from Joe T's and out of habit I parked where I normally do... but you have to have a sticker on your window to park in that area and we were in my Mom's car... so no sticker! $250 later and a trip to a really creepy/shady part of town...we got the car back!!!





WHAT A WEEKEND!!!! It was a blast - pound and all!!!

Can't wait till next time Mom and Dad are here for the STATE FAIR!!!!
