Sweet Kate McRae

This is a story that I have seen posted on many blogs and have been so touched by it…The McRae family needs your prayers, for their daughter Kate. Three weeks ago Kate was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Read her story here (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/mcraekate). On this website you can read a daily (and sometimes multiple times a day) journal with updates and specific prayer requests that her parents are asking to be lifted up to the Lord.

Many bloggers have been hosting silent auctions on behalf of Kate McRae in hopes to raise money for this family but most of all to spread her story so that more prayers can be said on their behalf. So I decided that I needed to post about it on my blog too … I’m not sure that even 10 people read my blog… but that’s 10 more knees that might hit the floor tonight on Kate and the rest of the McRae family’s behalf.

Pray for strength and courage for this family as they walk down this path…

Pray for sweet little Kate as she starts chemo…

Pray for the doctors that are overseeing her case…

Here are some sweet videos that her parents have posted on you tube in hopes to get her story out… be careful… they are very touching… might need a Kleenex!!

Pray for Kate McRae – Part II

A Day in the Life of Kate McRae

So now that I have told all of my 10 readers about sweet Kate McRae… now you can go tell your readers about her too!! Maybe you could even copy and paste the Praying for Kate picture below to your blog… as a reminder to you and your readers to say a prayer for Kate.

This song was written by Audrey Assad, a Nashville Singer-Songwriter, during an online Global Night of Prayer for Kate McRae. The lyrics came in one pass that night and the chords/melody came the following morning.

We are praying for you sweet Kate!!!

Make that 11 readers! I stumbled upon your blog from clicking on my friends sisters (Kelly Mann) blog and then saw the title of yours and because I have a good friend that's a Fletcher (from FL) I clicked on yours. The first post I saw was for Kate McRae. I work for my church out here in Los Angeles and I will definitely get the word out to lift Kate in prayer daily! Thank you so much for posting!! God bless you!
